The Network

CBT Networks Ltd is an independent psychology service providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy nationwide.

The focus at CBT Networks is on individual care. Each client's needs are carefully assessed and treatment recommendations made with these specifically in mind. For those clients unable to see Dr Thrasher, we will try to locate therapists within easy reach. Sessions are arranged to suit client availability. Privacy and client care are top of our agenda, from the first enquiry to the end of treatment.

Being a smaller company means we can offer a warm and friendly approach, whilst maintaining quality care. We deal with you personally as an individual, and care is taken to provide support for treatment so that you can make the best possible recovery.

We work to the highest professional standards, offering focused and efficient treatment from start to finish.

Director CBT Networks Ltd Chartered Clinical Psychologist

What I do: I am a Clinical Psychologist working with everyday people (young and old) to help them manage emotional distress. I find the techniques and style of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy invaluable in helping clients move forward with problems. In my clinics, I am regularly impressed by the speed of recovery and the extent of the benefits which can be reaped using relatively brief interventions.

A bit about me: Outside of work, I am kept busy by an unruly allotment, an even more unruly retriever and by a passion for Mexican cooking and 1930's jazz.

Samantha Hardy

PA to Dr Thrasher and Office Manager

What I do: It is my job to maintain the smooth running of the office on a daily basis, and to ensure that we all stay as efficient and as happy as possible. This means that whether your contact with us is personal, or on behalf of someone else, you should feel that you are in good hands and completely reassured as a result.

A bit about me: In my spare time, I enjoy the music of Lester Young and Oscar Peterson, reading endlessly, laughing as often as possible, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my face.

Victoria Alvarez

Marketing and Information Manager

What I do: I look after the marketing side of the company, trying to increase awareness of CBT, the benefits of this therapy and its availability. Basically, I tell lots of people how great CBT is and how great we are at providing CBT. Both of which are true. I also assist with the general day-to-day admin stuff that seems to accumulate greatly in the office and no one seems to know how it gets there.

A bit about me: I like Doctor Who, Sherlock, Katzenjammer, Caro Emerald, Lewis Carroll, Dean Koontz, poetry, travelling, dancing, peanut butter straight from the jar.
